As people everywhere adjust to the “new normal,” key questions continue to arise, among them, “Is it safe to go to my doctor or dentist?” At Professional Endodontics, the answer is clearly “Yes.” Here’s why…

Creating a safe environment for patients and staff is a hallmark of any good dental practice. Professional Endodontics adheres to best-practices in terms of hygiene protocols and infection control. Before and after each and every patient, we clean and disinfect the treatment room and all surfaces—including the dental chair, dental light and equipment, drawer handles and countertops—and use disposable, protective covers on equipment to minimize risk. The lobby and all entryways/exits are routinely cleaned throughout the day. Personal protection equipment—gloves, gowns, masks, face shields—also ensure that our medical team and our patients limit exposure.

When you phone for your appointment, our receptionist will ask some screening questions about your general health and whether you’ve been traveling in the past two weeks. On the day of your appointment, we ask that you wear a face covering when entering our office.  With you mask in place, you’ll come into our office and check in at the front window.  Due to our modified scheduling protocol, you may be taken directly to your treatment room and all precautions will be taken to limit contact with other patients.

Upon entering, your temperature will be taken and you will be asked a few more general questions about your health. If all screening criteria is met, you’ll be led to an exam room and receive your treatment in a clean and safe environment. It’s that easy.

Because of our heightened awareness, things may seem a little over the top, but again, your safety is paramount, and now might be the best time to come in for a consultation, root canal, or to finish treatment that has been put on hold.

Rest assured, our competent, caring staff is committed to doing the utmost to provide you with a comfortable experience and peace of mind.
