Dr. Andrew Schoelch

Dr. Andrew Schoelch reflects the same high level of professionalism as do all the endodontists at Professional Endodontics. His overriding objective is to provide his patients with outstanding dental care while ensuring their comfort.

Dr. Schoelch attended the University of Michigan and earned an undergraduate degree, with honors, in movement science in 1996. He stayed on at the university to pursue his dental degree and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. Dr. Schoelch was then admitted to Temple University, in Philadelphia, where he was awarded his certificate in endodontics in 2003. He joined the Professional Endodontics practice that year.

During his time at the University of Michigan, Dr. Schoelch lettered four years in a row in track-and-field and was a member of the team that won the Big 10 Indoor Track & Field Championship in 1994. His college track career was a carryover from his high school days when he was a three-time Michigan state high school sprint champion. Today, Dr. Schoelch is still very active as an avid golfer, mountain-biker, and wake-surfer.

While working to deliver the best dental care for his patients, Dr. Schoelch also works to ensure the good health of his profession. He is an engaged member of several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Michigan Association of Endodontists, the Oakland County Dental Association, the Macomb County Dental Association, and the Detroit District Dental Society. He is currently the president of the eastern branch of the Detroit District Dental Society where he has also served as treasurer and vice president. Like his associates, he has been named a Top Dentist by Hour Detroit magazine.

In his practice, Dr. Schoelch understands patients often are apprehensive about dental care. He believes patient comfort is a critical part of a successful appointment and focuses on easing a patient’s anxiety while treating them.

Dr. Schoelch is a lifelong resident of Oakland County. 

“When people come to see me, more often than not they’re unsure of what will happen. I want them to be comfortable and to know that I will provide the care they need in as comfortable a way as possible. That’s the way I treat every patient.”
